Air Con service

We sometimes take our air - condition system for granted. Over the period of a year, an average air conditioning system can loose up to 15% of its efficiency. You engine works harder to try to compensate and as a result your fuel consumption increases.

In addition even modern systems are prone to a build up of condensation which is an ideal breeding ground for unseen bacteria, mould and fungi. These breed quickly and can cause sore throats, flu like symptoms, allergies and smells.

We have recognized the importance of regularly servicing and maintaining modern air conditioning systems. We have invested in specialist equipment and factory trained technicians to ensure your systems remains in peak condition

Clutch repairs

Your engine is constantly on the go, constantly spinning. The clutch is the system by which the engine is engaged and the car drives. It's the job of the clutch to create a smooth engagement between the engine and a non-spinning transmission.
The clutch allows engine power to be applied gradually when the vehicle initially pulls away, it interrupts power to the transmission for gear change and stops the engine stalling when bringing vehicle to a stop. When clutch is fully engaged (clutch pedal fully raised) this allows power from the engine to the transmission creating drive at the wheels. When the clutch is disengaged (clutch pedal fully depressed) this stops the power from the engine to the

Diesel particulate filter legislation (DPF)
these are fitted to meet european emmission standards and are used to reduce the emission of particulate matter (soot) produced from combustion on deisel engines the dpf is designed to trap soot within the filter and as the soot builds up the filter requires emptying this is known as regeneration. In order for regeneration the soot needs to be burned off at high temperatures. Due to driving styles and road conditions the deisel particulate system has been problematic. This has led to diesel owners taking the option to remove the filter. However removing the filter means that the vehicle no longer meets the emmisions standards applied when manufactured. According to regulation of road vehicles (construction and use) regulation 61 A, a vehicle that is modified in a way that no longer meets the emmision standards applied when it was new will make the vehicle illegal for road use and FAIL ITS NEXT MOT. You must notify your insurer if the vehicle is modified but such a modification could in turn invalidate any insurance cover
